(More customer reviews)We were skeptical of putting a teething yellow lab pup in a fabric crate, but when we saw this in a local store, we were impressed! Very sturdy and tight! Extemely well made.
We bought the E36, even though it was a little small for a full size labrador retriever, and we're glad we did. It's perfect for him now; he's 9 weeks old and he took to it like a den. He walks right in when he's tired. A few minor corrections about not mouthing it, along with a few great toys and rawhide chews, and he's been absolutely fine. He loves it.
It's surprisingly nice to be able to open the top as well. We can pick him right up and carry him outside after a nap.
I would recommend using a little softened bar soap on the zippers, because they're very tight. And of course, I can't recommend leaving a teething pup in it for long hours. Nor would you put an aggresive or vicious animal in this crate.
We keep it right in our bedroom and the zipper jingles when he scratches the door. We get up and lift him out and bring him to the door. Fabulous!
By the time he outgrows this crate, he probably won't need it, but I may have to buy him the larger one anyway just because he loves it!

(More customer reviews)I ordered this by the description given, it stated the small would hold up to a 10lb. dog, my puppy is only 3lbs. and he can't fit n it comfortably, I actually bought it awhile ago & just started using it, I want to return it, but since it's been awhile, I dont' think they'll take it back, now I'm stuck w/ a bag he can't fit in, I've lost $25, my dog won't get bigger than 5lbs, so I thought I'd have it for quite awhile, anyway, I did get the bag delivered quickly, just wish I would have put him it in asap. If they change the description so that it didn't state it was good for a 10lb dog, then no other customer will be disappointed.Designer Bag Carrier - Black - Small

(More customer reviews)I bought two of these carriers, size small, and they are perfect for a large cat. I love the peacock blue color and it is pretty darn close to what is pictured - a rich blue - very nice! I put rubber feet on one carrier so they can be stacked and not slide apart.
The only complaint I have about this carrier is that there is no rear vent as stated in the description; maybe there is a rear vent in the larger sizes? It didn't matter for my particular use, but a more accurate description is definitely needed for those to whom it does matter.

(More customer reviews)If you are taking your pet on an airline, this is the only pet crate we could find that was truly "Airline Approved".
Most airlines require a plastic kennel that's bolted together with plastic or metal treaded screws (knob, clamp and clamshell locks are strictly forbidden on almost every airline), not top loading, allow for at least 1.5" of clearance from the sides on all sides, and vented on four sides.
This crate met all but one. The back of the carrier is not vented, but we solved that problem with a power drill and a 1/2" bit. 27 holes later and you have a truly airline approved pet crate.
BOTTOM LINE: IF YOU'RE PUTTING FLUFFY OR FIDO ON AN AIRPLANE, BUY THIS KENNEL!

(More customer reviews)Like another review said, I also got this earlier than promised. It's a great carrier, good views for nosey puppies that don't like to be confined. It was easy to assemble, and even comes with a travel bag for when it's not set up. Great price. Even with shipping I still paid less than I would have at a local pet store. I would have paid about twice as much for something this size elsewhere. It is pretty sturdy, the zippers are a little cheap but I think they will do just fine. Especially because I will only be using this in the car and to the Vet. We are picking up our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy on Friday, and by the looks of the crate, I could probably fit 3 puppies in it! Much room to grow, I probably don't have to buy another one even when puppy gets older. BTW, the pink is a little more vibrant than it looks in the product image. I posted a few pictures of my own also.

(More customer reviews)I just returned from the airport, where I had to purchase ANOTHER dog crate because this one was NOT ok to fly- at least on United. It does not have screws to hold it together ( it has plastic latches) and it does not have girders on the outside sides to ensure airflow even if something is resting directly up against it. The airline was going to let the screw parts slide if we could secure the latches with zip-ties (which is doable) but the airflow was an insurmountable problem. The crate is fine for home use but DO NOT BUY for airline travel. You are wasting your time and money. I just left mine at the trash at the airport because I now have no use for it. Junk.

When I received and opened, it said right on the tag accommodates dogs to 12 pounds! My Japanese chin is 11 pounds and it seems quite uncomfortable for him. It is usable but not comfortable. It doesn't seem like it would be comfortable for a smaller dog either. It is long and thin. My dog takes up only a small portion of the bag because his body just squishes to one side in it! Maybe if it were deeper? I think he would be more comfortable in one of my own pocketbooks. Very odd shape for carrying a dog. Also, the little pocket in the front in very cheesy looking .

This carrier is very solid and well made (much better than the store brands I saw). You will need to assemble the carrier and the instructions could have been a little clearer, but overall it took no more than 10 minutes to complete. The bottom piece arrived damaged, but after a quick phone call to Marchioro (the manufacturer), a replacement part was shipped via UPS and arrived the following day.

If I could make one suggestion, it would be that it was made in different colors/prints (even though he doesn't know it was pink, I would have liked a different color one :) )My puppy LOVES his bag, will climb into it if I leave it on the floor and never hesitates when I put him inside. It carries his weight well (feels like Im carrying nothing) and there is plenty of room for him in there. He loves that he can sit up and see what it going on and then has plenty of room to lay down and relax. There is alot of mesh-y areas for the bag to breathe as well. Its made of sturdy materials and was money well spent!
