(More customer reviews)Kurgo Sky Box is perfect for my Italian Greyhound. She jumps right in, and hangs her head over the side while we drive. I feel she is much safer if there were to be an accident. You should probably deactivate the passenger side airbag. Part of the beauty of this design is that it is suspended over the seat, so no weight rests on the sensor that would activate the airbag and start that annoying boing boing telling you to fasten the seatbelt on that side. It's a breeze to install or take out. Must note that the cute orange liner doesn't stay in place very well.

Rough & Rugged Big Bone, 9" Review

(More customer reviews)My 1.5 year old, 60 lb goldendoodle tends to chew through toys and eats EVERYTHING, so this dense rubber bone is a godsend. He loves to chew on it for hours; the bone shape really seems to appeal to him. He does put dents and divots in it and occasionally takes teeny chunks off, but not large enough to worry about. (I'm talking about a doodle here, so it might be different with a serious power chewer with more massive jaws.) I originally bought a 6 inch version at a store, which I had to toss after about 4 months because one of the ends had deteriorated enough for me to worry about a 3/4 inch chunk breaking off. This was a record for any rubber toy other than a Kong, which he doesn't really like to gnaw on. The 9 inch version I got through Amazon feels really heavy, and he loves it even more. He runs straight to it after he comes home, to check on it! I think it will last longer than the smaller bone.

(More customer reviews)I've bought two of these this year for my 14 pound Bichon. Both failed when the cheap plastic fastec buckle snapped at his shoulder. The red one made his fur pink, but I didn't mind that too much since I think the wide chest support is so great. The second one I bought was khaki, and that color was true. I think $10 a month for harnesses is too much (two at $20 which lasted a total of four months). It got two stars instead of one because I like the design.

Solvit Tagalong Pet Booster Seat, Standard Review

(More customer reviews)Fred is my little Yorkie...he weighs a little more than 4 pounds and is about 9" from his neck to tail - I ordered the standard size booster seat and it is a perfect fit for him. He has room to stand, sit and lay down as he chooses, though for now, he loves sitting up and being able to see this great big world. Now Fred's world isn't terribly big and we don't exactly travel to the ends of the earth on any given day, but Fred really likes to see where he is going and loves to check out other doggies in the Piggly Wiggly parking lot while he waits for me to grab a gallon of milk.
I'm giving the product five stars because I knew what I was buying when I ordered the booster seat, but there are a couple of things to remember before buying. One, this booster seat has to be used on a stand alone seat in your vehicle with a head rest. One of the anchor straps goes around the headrest and the other must be able to completely encircle the seat itself. While installation was not difficult at all, when an actual human wants to ride in the seat, the pet booster needs to be unclipped and removed for comfort. The booster CAN fold up so it lays flat against the seat back, but does create quite a lump there. In my car, the only potential seat workable for the booster is the front passenger seat...my back seats have integrated, curved headrests and while I do have child safety seat metal loops, I have no way of attaching the lower strap completely around the seat portion.
I also needed to extend the built in clip to attach to Fred's harness, which yes, only use a harness in these carriers, a neck collar alone is not safe in case the dog would somehow manage to climb over or get ejected from the seat in a crash. Anyhoo, Fred, though small, was too "tall," even when just sitting, for the included clip to attach to his harness without forcing him to lay down...there is not a lot of leeway there, but I was able to fashion another clip using a small leash lead from the pet store.
The booster seat is very well-made and sturdy. There is a metal bracket that helps the booster hold its form and it has a stiff bottom as well. The exterior is a faux leather that can easily be wiped clean and the fleece liner is removable and washable as well. I put my passenger seat completely upright, otherwise I just had too much tilt and Fred couldn't see out over the front. I have the top edge of the booster level with my window so Fred gets full view out of his window. It's fun pulling up at a light and seeing people look over and be able to see Fred riding along, sitting as tall as any human :-)

(More customer reviews)I purchased three of these to transport each of my three cats some 90 miles on a drive south to my parents' house. Along the way, each of them, one at a time, often while traveling at a high rate of speed on the freeway managed with little difficulty to escape from their carriers. My oldenst after escaping decided to show her appreciation by urinating on her sister who was curled up on the passenger front seat. Thank goodness for Nature's Miracle, but that's another review. The closure for these carriers is totally inadequate for cats. Perhaps a dog might find it more difficult to wiggle the zipper back and escape, but not any cat I currently own. After several zip-ties and rigging I returned home without incident, and threw these worthless carriers away!

I was unsure before ordering whether this would be a sufficiently sized crate for my dog when he is mature. I will tell you we joking call this his condo because it is huge. I am 5'3" and 110 lbs. and me and my dog could fit in this crate (we actually did lol!). Plus the free divider makes it great as a training crate. (More customer reviews)I work in cat rescue in addition to having several of my own. The top-opening carriers are favored by anyone working in rescue, and by the vet offices. Getting a scared cat into a carrier is so so much easier with the top-opening carrier. You can hold the kitty and while it is calm just put him down in through the top, with little stress. Everyone complains about trying to struggle to get a cat into the front, trying to upend the front opening to drop the cat into the small opening. I've given many away to rescue friends, to animal control officers. I keep losing them to people who love them and have to constantly buy more to replenish what I have on hand.
I also work with wildlife and these are the best for transporting orphaned babies. It's easy to treat them from above and you can monitor, medicate and feed them from above, almost impossible with a front-opening.

Its nice to have a separte bag with a long enough strap on it to put over my shoulder so my hands are free or to hang from my stroller. Since my kids are young, I carry a diaper bag. Its nice to have a separte bag for poop, like my dogs diaper bag. Its nice for sanitation reasons too! Also I can keep treats in the bag for my dog too! I could use my Meijer bags...but this product is worth its features!

We ended up purchasing another so that both dogs could have their own. It's really nice because they can ride in comfort laying down and having the windows open (and getting air vs. laying on the seat), and still be able to see outside. I can feed them treats and keep their car toys right be them. Great product and it arrived a day early.

With most of my Amazon reviews I usually have suggestions for improvement. Well, I can't come up with any for this. The price was right too. I bought two of these for my two 7-pound Yorkies. I don't use them for every day. Mostly I wanted them for trips and emergencies. I keep one in the car, even though my dogs ride in booster seats, in case one of them gets injured when we're out hiking or something. And if I need to evacuate the house in an emergency, I can fit both dogs into one crate.

It also wont stand upright with the end open which i needed to tempt my cat to choose it as a cosy place to sleep.I also had to pay 15 pounds excess on the postage as it came from US to UK- makes it expensive but they dont seem to be available here.

He jumped into himself after getting out of the car for a break. It was very stable the entire time. I got the large and it fits in the back bench seat, but is too wide for the front bucket seat. Haven't tried the heated feature since it is springtime. I love the tan bone fabric.
