This one takes a good while to zip both ends which is what holds it together. The Remington you just pull up on two rods one on each side and it's done. Plus it doesn't feel like it would take much of a breeze to blow it awayPrecision Pet Soft Side Play Yard, Navy/Tan, Larged when empty.

What keeps this out of 5 stars is the construction on the bars is a little light weight and I have to be careful every time I put it together. Also would like to see rubber caps provided that cover the hard edge of the poles to avoid possible fabric rub/wear through when the crate is stored.

So, I went with same brand, different color. I have one of these crates for my terrier, and they work very nicely for Dog Agility, with quick setup/teardown. Seller was prompt when shipping. No complaints! Quite happy!

(More customer reviews)I would recommend this product to anyone who has dogs. When we are not home I use this to put my dogs in it and they love it. I even catch them napping in it when we are home with the flap opened. They feel cozy in it. Even on trips it comes in handy. I fold it up and carry it along with us! One thing you have to becareful with is the top poles that keep it up, becareful and not to let anyone lean on it because they will bend and break. Other than that it is a great product!

Pet Gear 'The Other Door' Steel Crate for Cats and Dogs, Sage Review

(More customer reviews)While this carrier looked great in theory, after only eight months of light use (just opening and closing the door once or twice a day, the black plastic fastener clasps are all breaking from fatigue. And, there are no replacements available. If the clasps/clips were made of metal, this would be a much better product.

I must say I am glad I did, not only are they made great, they are sturdy and easy to assemble. I was worried my cats (I bought two) wouldn't be happy moving an hour away, but in these carriers, they both were very comfy, cozy and safe.. LOVE THEM :)

Soft Side Pet Crate, Navy/Tan Review

(More customer reviews)This crate is spacious, easily portable and appears to be well made. There is, however, some difficulty in placing the two support bars in their recepticles or removing them for folding. The product could be improved by allowing the machanism that adjusts the length of the support bars to shorten them a bit more so that the bars can be positioned without forcing them into their recipticles. I have identified another product that I believe will be a bit more user friendly and would have returned this item, but one of the dogs ripped the pocket in the carrying case. I will continue to use the crate, but I expect that this design flaw will continue to be an irritant as it does not appear that the material will stretch enough over time to allow easier placement of the bars.
