(More customer reviews)I just received my Large Bali2 and I am in love with it. I've been looking for a long time and having trouble finding exactly what I wanted, but I believe this is it. It seems sturdy and well made. I bought the Large for my two pups - one is a little over 2.5 lbs and the other a little over 3 lbs and it seems a little large, but gives them plenty of room to move around. I've also handled Celltei carriers that have inserts you have to put in to make the carrier keep its shape. The Bali2 is able to keep its shape on its own and I look forward to using it.

(More customer reviews)I reviewed this product to purchase for my 5 lb maltepoo. It is huge and bulky. It collapses on her and the metal connections from the straps to the bag look cheap. The straps are also very cheap looking. It is not a crisp black and white pattern. I am back on the search for another bag and will be passing this on a neighbor with a 10 lb poodle.

(More customer reviews)when i ordered this bag i was very happy with the price. i had seen the same bag for $65 on other sites! it arrive promptly from the estimated time I was given. I love this bag! It's sturdy enough to hold my samson securely and the pocket on the side allows me to carry a few essentials for me. i would definately reccomend this bag to anyone. I will say the velvet insert is not very thick so i actually put another insert in the bag that was a little softer.

(More customer reviews)I bought this bag for my 8 lb chihuahua mix and I love it. It has several pockets for my wallet, poo bags, keys etc. It basically doubles as a purse which is something that I've had a hard time finding in a dog carrier.
When I got the bag the packaging said it was for pets 7 lbs or under, but as I said my dog is 8 lbs and fits well (although I don't think I would put a larger dog in there). The bottom of the bag does not have any stiff support, so I can understand why the weight limit is so light, it forces the dog to either sit or lie down because they can't really stand in it. There is more than enough room for my pup in the bag. It's really nice for outings when I might be going into stores that want her in a bag. It functions more like a sling carrier than an actual purse type bag.
It also frees up my hands for other things. I can put my pup in the bag and put it over my shoulder (the strap has a padded section that slides so it's quite comfortable) and not have to worry about her jumping out. There is a built in collar clip also.
Overall this is a wonderful bag. My money was well spent.

(More customer reviews)I bought this carrier for my 6 lb. chihuahua/papillon mix. I should say I paid much more in my local pet store than the price listed here. My dog fits very comfortably and has plenty of room even though he is rather tall for his size and he doesn't mind going in it. The bag has worked out well for getting him around the city and on public transit for short trips, however there is a big problem with the bag. Because of its shape and design, even when the bag is zippered shut there are open gaps on both sides of the zipper. My dog has figured out that if he tries hard enough he can push his head through these gaps and poke his head out of the bag. This is especially a problem when he goes through the gap where the zipper starts (not where it closes and easily opens) because then I have to gently pull his head back through a very small space without hurting him and it's not an easy thing to do. The carrier is okay for shorter trips but on extended trips when the dog starts to get antsy it's way too easy for him to wriggle himself out and put himself in a situation where he can get hurt. It's become enough of a problem that I've purchased a new carrier that zips shut all the way.

(More customer reviews)This is a sturdy, attractive, spacious carrier that is very practical. I love the fact that it's inconspicuous and allows you to take your dog anywhere without being detected. It also folds up very neatly and compactly, allowing you to store anywhere when not in use.
From afar this carrier looks very beautiful, classic and sharp. However, up close the vinyl accents look and feel cheap. It also smells horrible when new, with a very strong plastic aroma. I had to "air it out" for a few days before placing my precious pup in it.
This being said, you really can't go wrong for this price. The carrier is attractive, economical and durable.
I would definitely be willing to pay a little extra for genuine leather accents rather than the current vinyl ones.

However, my 3.2 lb Yorkie would feel like he was in a cave. I doubt that he could even see out the neck opening.

(More customer reviews)I had been looking for the "perfect" pet carrier for some time. After an exhaustive search and several purchases, this turned out to be the perfect one. It is made well and is roomy enough for my little maltese without being too big. It is cute and discreet since it looks like an ordinary tote bag/ large purse. With this, I can sneak my dog into places that I normally would not be able to take him inside.
I wanted something that I could carry on my shoulder, had sides that could be unzipped for my dog to stick his head out, and had a padded chin rest. I also wanted one that had a large enough pocket for my personal items so that I did not also have to carry a purse with me.
I highly recommend this carrier:)

There's an outer zipped pocket and a bigger pocket with organizer pockets for cell phone, ipod, etc. There's also another pocket inside the tote. These extra pockets are key--I've seen many pet totes that have no pockets or one inadequate pocket forcing you to have to carry another bag. With this, you don't need an extra bag.
There are two vented pockets on either side, and an optional one in front. The bag comes with a removable fleecey insert for easy cleaning and comfort for your pet.
It's airline approved and would be great under your seat, although they do come in larger sizes and I'm not sure if all sizes are approved, so be sure to measure. This bag works great for my 5lb Chihuahua. She loves to come with us everywhere we go. I recommend this bag and think it's a great value.
